Minitar 802.11g PCI Wireless Adapter
The Minitar MN54GPC-R 54Mbps Wireless PCI Card provides desktop PC users with a convenient wireless connection to their network for sharing files, printers, and other hardware peripherals in restrictive environments that make it difficult or impossible to deploy a wired network.
The MN54GPC-R features the very latest IEEE 802.11g wireless technology to deliver up to 54Mbps data rate in the 2.4GHz frequency. It works with IEEE 802.11b compliant devices and is capable of handling data intensive applications including real-time MPEG video streaming. In addition, the MN54GPC-R comes equipped with the ability to help prevent access to sensitive data on the network to secure over-the-air transmissions with 64/128-bit WEP and IEEE 802.11i TKIP encryption as well as Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) support.
