The Minitar MN54GCB 54Mbps Wireless CardBus Card provides notebook PC users with an instant wireless connection to their network for sharing files, printers, and other hardware peripherals at home or office. The MN54GCB features the very latest IEEE 802.11g wireless technology to deliver up to 54Mbps data rate in the 2.4GHz frequency. It works with IEEE 802.11b compliant devices and is capable of handling data intensive applications including real-time MPEG video streaming. In addition, the MN54GCB comes equipped with the ability to help prevent access to sensitive data on the network to secure over the air transmissions with 64/128-bit WEP and IEEE 802.11i TKIP encryption as well as WPA support*.
