Orders, Terms and Conditions

ORDERS

All orders require confirmation by fax or mail to Award One Technology . GST is payable on all purchases. You should clearly state on the order if you wish shipment by Award One Technology's courier (Discount Freight Express) or your own. Please contact Award One Technology  for relevant freight rates should you require shipment by our courier. Discount Freight Express is a Road service, and is overnight only in Melbourne. An overnight service to other capitals is available, please contact Award One Technology for pricing.

All prices listed are correct at time of issue, but are subject, to change without prior notice. Please contact Award One Technology  to ensure prices have not changed before ordering.

Payment may be made by Direct Bank Deposit or by Bankcard, Mastercard or Visa Card.

Products on Evaluation

Goods required for evaluation will need

  1. An official order from the customer highlighting that the product is “Subject to Evaluation”
  2. The completion and acceptance of the Award One Technology Evaluation form.

Items on evaluation must be returned within 7 days of the delivery docket date, or an invoice will be deemed payable. At the end of the evaluation period, please return the goods via the normal RA process. An RA number must be requested. The product must be RETURNED IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING in a complete and and unmarked condition, with the RA number marked on the outside of the packaging (Do not write on, or mark the original packaging). If software is required to evaluate a product, Award One Technology  must be notified prior to the request. Items that do not comply with these conditions will not be credited, and the invoice deemed payable.

Return Authorization

In the event a product is DOA, or has failed within the Warranty period, the purchaser needs to obtain an RA from Award One Technology .
To obtain an RA you must fill out the online RA form which can be found here.
Once the product serial number has been verified, you will be issued with an RA number.
This RA number must be clearly displayed on the return packaging.
Any package received without an RA number will be returned to the sender.
Award One Technology accepts no responsibility for product returned without prior allocation of an RA number.
Shipment of RA goods to Award One Technology is the responsibility of the sender.
Award One Technology reserves the right to reject any goods which have been damaged prior, or in transit.
RA Numbers are only valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
Products must be returned within this period, or a new RA number must be obtained.

Return and Credit of Goods

Product may be returned within 7 days of the sales invoice date without a restocking fee. All returned goods must be in pristine condition with all seals intact. Opened, damaged or soiled goods will not be accepted.

Products returned for credit within 8 to 14 days of invoice date will be subject to a15% restocking fee on the price of the product at the time of return. Products returned for credit within 15 to 30 days of invoice date will be subject to a 25% restocking fee on the price of the product at the time of return. Products outside this time period, will not be accepted for return.

Processor chips, memory, disk or peripheral enclosures, and PC cases are deemed to be non returnable items, and no return or credit will be allowed.

Brochures and Specifications

The purchaser warrants and acknowledges that Award One Technology is not responsible for the description or illustrations or specifications contained in any supplied documentation, including any catalogue, list, brochure or publicity material, whether produced by Award One Technology or any other supplier to the purchaser.

Purchasers Rights and Remedies

Award One Technology acknowledges that the purchaser is entitled to all rights and remedies in respect of Goods which the purchaser has under the Trade Practices Act and similar State Territory Laws and which cannot be lawfully executed, restricted or modified. These Terms and Conditions do not purport to, and do not have the effect of excluding, restricting or modifying the exercise of any such right or remedy.

Subject to the preceding paragraph:

All conditions, warranties and guarantees other than those expressly provided for or agreed and acknowledged by Award One Technology in these Terms and conditions are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law; and Award One Technology will not be liable to the purchaser for any loss caused (in whole or part) by, or arising out of use of goods or any defects in goods or any defects in goods, or any failure, malfunction or breakdown, or deterioration of goods or products into which the goods are incorporated.

Where the purchaser is a consumer under the Trade Practices Act or similar State and Territory laws, and goods supplied or services provided to the purchaser are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal domestic or household use, then unless the purchaser establishes that reliance on this provision would not be fair and reasonable, the liability for breach of condition or warranty implied into these terms and conditions by the Trade Practices Act or by any similar State or Territory laws (other than a condition implied by Section 69 of the Trade Practices Act or by equivalent of provisions of any similar State or Territory Laws) is limited to any one of the following as determined by Award One Technology.

In the case of Goods supplied

  1. The replacement of the goods or supply of equivalent goods
  2. The repair of the goods
  3. The payment of the cost of replacing the goods or acquiring equivalent goods
  4. The payment of the cost of having the goods repaired.

In the case of services supplied

  1. The supply of services again
  2. The payment of the cost of having the services supplied again
